Proceeds benefit the non-profit organization GIVE A HAND FOUNDATION WORLDWIDE, providing HIV awareness and prevention across the globe.
This event is organized by GIVE A HAND FOUNDATION WORLDWIDE, INC., a nonprofit charity organization, which was incorporated in Atlanta, GA in October of 2006, and obtained its nonprofit 501c3 status in March of 2009.
Their introductory event was hosting THE WORLD MUSIC AND FOOD FESTIVAL at Piedmont Park, Atlanta, GA, October 23 – 24, 2010. The organization continues to grow and now hosts festivals in several cities.
The mission of GIVE A HAND FOUNDATION is to bring awareness and education on the prevention of HIV to young people around the world. We endeavor to help them make informed decisions about their lifestyle to prevent the transmission and spread of HIV. We accomplish this by one on one counseling, educating people about safe sex and finding immediate solutions to end the epidemic. Eventually, we would like to help find a cure.
