The Nomad Cocktail Recipe

the nomad cocktail recipe

A perfect sipping drink to introduce as a dessert cocktail for after dinner, The Nomad cocktail recipe is sure to be a hit. It’s sweet enough that you probably wouldn’t have more than one.  It makes a great replacement for the double layered chocolate cake you might normally serve as a last course.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz. Midori
  • 1 oz. Cointreau
  • Juice of one Lemon
  • Twist of Orange

Method:  In a mixing glass with ice, pour in the measured amounts of Midori and Cointreau.  Squeeze in the juice of one lemon.  Shake well, then strain into a chilled cocktail glass.  Take a rind of an orange and twist it over the drink, allowing the oils of the rind disperse onto the drink.  Rub the twist on the rim before dropping it into the drink.
