This cocktail won a competition being held by Booth’s Gin back in 1933. Arthur Tarling, a British bartender, came up with this very smooth and enjoyable gin cocktail. Grand Marnier, being another key ingredient in this drink, has taken this drink in to promote their liqueur.

Red Lion Cocktail
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 oz. Gin
- 1 oz. Grand Marnier
- Juice of 1/4 Lemon
- Juice of 1/4 Orange
- Splash of Grenadine
- Orange Rind for Garnish
Method:
Pour the ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake well, then strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Take an orange rind and heat it up with a lighter. Twist the orange rind over the glass and drop it in or discard.
